A highly skilled legal and policy expert with experience across academia, NGO, governmental and commercial sectors.

I am a legal expert with over five years of professional legal experience that spans lecturing, tutoring, casework and consultancy. I have an LLM in International Law (Merit), a BA Hons in Politics and currently work as a lecturer and tutor for the CILEx accredited Law Training Centre (LTC) in Canterbury, Kent. My role for LTC involves teaching CILEx level 3 tort, criminal, probate, law of wills and practice of company and partnership law and CILEx level 6 employment, contract and practice of company and partnership law. My teaching approach places great emphasis on coaching and I have created a highly effective learning environment by encouraging students to apply their own professional experience and independent analysis to real-world examples. This approach has proved to be very successful with my students achieving universal pass rates at distinction and merit level in 2016/2017. I am an experienced and confident public speaker and have given lectures for a number of conferences, universities and organisations. I have intensively studied both law and legal theory (Jurisprudence), which have both been a contribution to my book. My book has been published entitled ā€˜An International Humanitarian Organisation: A United Nations of the Peopleā€™. Publication is by Cambridge Scholar Publishing, succeeding in being reviewed by their panel of distinguished scholars. I have also published articles in the Ecologist and the Global Minds in the Global Journal as an expert member.

Miami University, Columbus State Community College

Experienced Math, Science, and Social Studies Tutor

Hello, my name is Brandon. I am currently pursuing my bachelors degree in political science at Miami University. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbus State Community College with an associate of arts in political science. I have worked with mostly high school students but I have worked with college students as well. I tutor a variety of subjects such as algebra, political science, chemistry etc. I have in total about 4 years of tutoring experience with 2 of those being during my high school years which I successfully tutored my peers. I generally teach by giving a thorough review of the content that the student wants to be taught on, I then use increasingly difficult problems to check for proficiency in the subject. If a student gets a problem wrong and does not understand why, I go through step by step so they can discover not only what they got wrong; but also what they can do for future problems. I look forward to working with you! Message me for testimonials/reviews from previous clients.

Eccentric Math & Science Tutor

I've been tutoring since 2011 and have met so many students with so many different needs. Not every story end with success but I have learned so much from all of my students and because of them I've become a more effective tutor. Parents ask me all the time why I don't become a teacher and while that idea isn't completely off the table, right now I really enjoy what I do. Watching students i've been with for 5 & 6 years finish high school and go on to college, motivated me to continue my own education.

Experienced in teaching MATLAB and Python

Over 150 hours teaching experience in a mixture of MATLAB and Python, particularly to beginners who find it difficult to grasp programming. I'm currently doing my PhD in medical imaging at University College London (UCL). Graduated with a first class honours MEng degree from Biomedical Engineering at UCL. Wide knowledge in maths, physics and biology but mostly teach Python and MATLAB. I love teaching intro to MALTAB in particular as many people find it difficult to get into in engineering if they have never done programming before. I also have some experience in teaching web development with Flask or with Javascript, React and Express. In comparison to a classroom, having a tutor is different in the sense that I am able to see what the pace of the class should be depending on how fast the student grasps certain concepts, and what parts is the student struggling the most at. My teaching style really depends on the understanding of the student, their age, and the subject we are learning. I always however, love to implement visual representations of concepts. The best thing about science is when you can make extremely complicated idea something easy to understand, because that is when creativity comes in. Sometimes, especially for younger kids when they still don`t have a very detailed image of science, this is the best moment to be creative and share the love for science.
