Hi! I'm a senior at UCLA and in my sixth year of full-time postsecondary education (I really like school). I'm going for my Bachelor's in Anthropology. I love tutoring and helping as many students as possible, no matter their age. I'm experienced with K-12 and college students. I'm a Debate teacher for kids age 8 and up, doing after-school and full-time summer camps, for which I independently plan the curriculum and lessons we cover. Besides for that, I'm a Writing tutor at a community college; I have one-on-one sessions with students, and I also attend beginner's English courses as an embedded tutor where I assist the teacher in the classroom (or Zoom room). We are now doing them REMOTELY, so I know how this works. In the past I volunteered with Reading Partners of Los Angeles, tutoring elementary school children from underserved communities. I was also captain of my college's Speech & Debate team and taught my teammates about the art of competitive debate. Prior to those, I managed several restaurants where a large part of my duties was to train crew members and develop new managers-- I did that for about 4 years. Plus, I was a camp counselor all throughout high school!

I have been recognized by a 4x NYT Bestselling Author and one of the world's most powerful women for my work in whole-person development and am part of Duke University's vetted Alumni Career Coaches. I exist to empower people, help them communicate their ideas, and find their place in the world. My students have received offers from Stanford, Harvard, UChicago, Duke, Dartmouth, Berkeley, MIT, and many more. They have noted how I help them be themselves and succeed rather than striving for someone else's notion of "success" at their own long-term expense. I am also a professional Integral Coach®, which means I am trained to embody emotional intelligence and work with you in a present, ethical, and empowering way. I hope I will shape your tutoring experience to be one where you can reach your goals, find your place in the world, and honor your humanity and inherent value.

Hi! My name is Natasha (Miss T) and I am a global nomad. I've lived in 8 countries and travelled to 70. I am an experienced and qualified teacher of languages (PGCE with Distinction; QTS; 4 years of experience in the UK, India and, now, Myanmar). I teach French and Russian across all age groups, language/EAL/ESL backgrounds, as well as to pupils with special educational needs. Each class and each student gets a personalised approach. I graduated with a BA French degree and have lived, studied and worked in Francophone countries for 4 years. Among my other studies, I've completed an MSc in Defence, Development, Diplomacy at Durham University and an MA in Visual and Media Anthropology at HMKW. I have worked in the private sector, international organisations and NGOs, as well as a private researcher among indigenous communities in South Asia. I am a fun-loving person and I use creative and innovative approaches in my teaching, as I believe pupils learn best when engaged. I enjoy transferring cultural knowledge and diving deeper into literature, arts, VR, music and films. While I plan a lesson carefully, I also like flexibility in going beyond the strict lesson rules. I like to challenge my pupils, when I see that they are ready for it, and give them food for thought, teach them soft skills and, most of all, inspire to do more and be more. What I enjoy most is building relationships with my pupils and getting to know their interests! At home, I'm a bookworm, and have around 3000 books in a variety of languages. When I'm not reading, I'm travelling, dancing, painting or out in the sea surfing.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Education with a concentration in History. History, especially American History (the Salem Witch Trials, Revolutionary War, Civil War, The Victorian Era, World War I) is a great passion of mine. I have not done a lot of tutoring, aside from Violin lessons quite some time ago. I was a substitute teacher for two different school systems in West Virginia. I substitute taught a wide array of subjects from Social Studies to Math to P.E. To LD classes. After my work as a substitute teacher, I worked as an Assistant Curator at a museum for 15 years. There I helped with history based programs for school children amongst many other tasks.
