Thank you so much for considering me for your tutoring needs. My name is Jordan Kennedy, and I am located in Phoenix, AZ. I received my Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Marketing and my MBA from University of Dubuque. I am also pursuing my Doctorate in Business Administration from St. Ambrose University. My entire career has been primarily focused on Talent Acquisition, lots of data analysis, and leadership. I have experience with training, building, and leading large teams. I was the first person to go to college in my family; I have 6 brothers and 1 sister. So far, 4 of my brothers have followed my footsteps through higher education. My other 2 brothers are still in high school; my sister is still in elementary school. I have also instilled in them the importance of education so they will also follow in my footsteps. I am very passionate about reading and helping others. I have always been told that I am a great trainer & teacher due to my patience, lack of making someone feel inferior, and ability to break things down and more easily digestible. I have three young boys (9, 7, and 7 months) and love watching them learn new things.

After studying for the SAT for years (since the 8th grade), I have an extremely comprehensive experience with the exam and its questions. In my first attempt, I was able to score a 1460 and on the second, I raised that to a 1540 (99th percentile). After this, I felt very confident in my ability to share my knowledge and experiences in mastering the SAT. So, I decided to start tutoring my friends and other students at my local library. I directly worked with 3-4 students at a time and provided them with very useful tips and tricks to rapidly improve their math scores on the SAT. After seeing the improved results of the students I tutored, I became very passionate about tutoring SAT Test prep. In my tutoring lessons, I will start off by understanding students' baseline scores, their goals, and the areas that they wish to improve. During tutoring, I will explain online by going through official SAT Test Prep lesson plans and then go on to explicitly teach them the concepts necessary to answer questions on all sections of the SAT. Focusing on weaknesses and motivating students to continue practicing problems consistently is my specialty and it has gone to improve their SAT scores significantly. I will also provide several resources to find SAT test problems online and practice with real tests as well.

I have always had a knack for writing and performing, hence why that ended up being my major here at college. I used to teach children how to read as well as help other students with their essays. I am incredibly patient and want whoever I'm working with to feel comfortable and excel in the subject their struggling with. As someone who has struggled with her learning disabilities herself, I can help others work through that and feel confident in their abilities. As I am currently enrolled in college, all tutoring sessions will have to be over FaceTime unless another option is specified.

I have been tutoring for 2 years now and I absolutely love it. It is extremely gratifying to me and sharing my passion to younger students is something I genuinely enjoy doing. My method of tutoring is to keep it fun while pushing students to their full potential as I lead them to correct answers rather than giving it to them.

My name is Ingrid Kambou Tachim and I am currently an incoming freshman at an Ivy League university majoring in Biology. I graduated from college with an Associates degree in Arts with highest honors and a 4.0 GPA. I also graduated high school with a diploma of distinction and a 5.2 GPA. I believe I am an excellent fit for this job, mainly because I have a passion working with children. As an older sister myself with two younger siblings, I find myself having to tutor more often than not. I have expanded this passion from inside my home to my community, by participating in volunteer tutoring for multiple organizations. I also find tutoring as an excellent way to sharpen my own skills, as teaching someone, especially someone younger, is the best way to test your understanding of a subject. Finally, I am an excellent communicator, and I find it simple to be able to deliver information to a child's mind and help them understand subjects they find challenging. Simply fit, this job is perfect for my skills, and I find myself the perfect candidate for it.
