Hi there, and welcome! I'm a PhD student in Physics at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. Prior to this, I got my Master's of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo in Applied Math, and a Bachelor of Mathematics studying Mathematical Physics. My research interests are at the intersection of astrophysics, particle physics, cosmology, and gravitational waves. I have been tutoring students since high school as a volunteer peer tutor in math and physics, and decided to continue tutoring throughout university. At the University of Waterloo I was a private tutor for several courses (see below), where I helped several students improve their academic performances. I've also been a teaching assistant for many courses at both the University of Waterloo and Queen's University (see below), and was awarded an Outstanding TA Award for my contributions. If you're struggling in your classes, or if you just want to deepen your understanding of physics and mathematics, then you've come to the right place! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you had any questions! ---------- To see if we'd be a good fit, the first 15 minutes of the first session is free! After that we can decide whether to continue working together.

I've been through all STEM courses in high school bar biology, and I love to teach kids! I graduated from an arts high school, so I am also able to teach music! I have plenty of experience with kids from grade 1-12, teaching swimming and boating at summer camps, but I'm new to the tutoring game. I'm great with kids that need a little encouragement, and I'm very patient. If you'd Like, I can give you a taste of what you're getting with a 30 minute session, on me.

I am an undergraduate candidate at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. My major is in Physics with a focus on the theory of quantum information processing. Ever since, my highschool days, I have regularly volunteered for tuition services spanning levels of education from the primary to the secondary school level. In university, I have regularly administered tutorials and help sessions at the tutorial centers. While I enjoy teaching a range of subjects, my areas of interest and expertise are Mathematics and Physics with a focus on the development of foundational intuition required to adapt to the problems normally seen in these subjects. Mathematics and Physics might not be everyone's cup of tea but in my opinion, a fair shot at these subjects provides students with invaluable skills required for any sort of technical and analytical work they might be interested in the future. Hence, I am a firm proponent of developing a hands-on intuition with these subjects rather than focusing on memorization of problems.
