I am OCT certified (Ontario College of Teachers) with a BSc. and MSc. in Physics. I am currently completing a PhD in Curriculum and Pedagogy at OISE/University of Toronto. I worked as a sessional lecturer at the University of Guelph teaching a variety of introductory Physics courses for Life Science students (ie. PHYS*1300/1070/1080), many of whom did not take Physics in high school. I have since had the opportunity to become familiar with the Ontario high school science curriculum – developing lessons, labs, and assessments (both virtually and in-person) – as a student teacher, supply teacher, and a long term occasional teacher & summer school teacher for grade 11 (SPH3U) and 12 Physics (SPH4U) at The Bishop Strachan School.
