I am a full time assistant professor. I was the chair of the department of English language and literature at the University of Mazandaran (UMZ), Iran. I was also the director of the office of International and Scientific Cooperation for two years at UMZ. Currently, I teach at MA and BA programs to students of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and conduct research at UMZ and supervise Ph.D. students In Iran and abroad. It is ten years I am teaching English at universities in Iran and before that I was a high school teacher for 15 years.
Over the past 10 years, I have taught a variety of English courses as I mentioned in my CV. I have published more than 25 papers in reputable journals and presented more than 20 papers at conferences. I have also reviewed many papers as a reviewer for journals. I have extensive experience working with EFL students. As I got my Ph.D. from Mysore University in India I learnt more about cultural differences and the beauties in these differences. I believe a good teacher accommodates the needs of each individual student and make them critical and autonomous learners. I know a teacher should know about teaching methodology, testing, material development, course design and evaluation and work with other colleagues to further educational issues at work.
