1. Carry out studies and research on human groups in their biological and cultural dimension and
on the sociocultural relationships involved in their actions, in t their spatio-temporal diversity.
2. Carry out studies of the material remains and the configurations that result from them as
evidence of human behavior in all space and time, and carry out actions aimed at the
preservation, restoration, and enhancement of archaeological objects, sites, and monuments.
3. Carry out studies and research on the biological variability and demogenetic characteristics of
extinct and current human populations and their relationship with sociocultural phenomena.
4. Advise on human groups in their biological and cultural dimension and the sociocultural
relationships involved in their actions, in their spatio-temporal diversity.
5. Elaborate, direct, execute and evaluate programs that imply transformations in the resulting
socio-cultural relationships and structures.
6. Carry out studies aimed at evaluating the sociocultural impact on human populations and the
losses i n archaeological heritage that the implementation of programs and projects of various
kinds could produce.
7. Conduct studies on habits, attitudes, opinions, behaviors, values, beliefs, and ideologies of
human groups.
8. Advise on the development, application, and evaluation of policies and regulations regarding t heir
adaptation to the different socio-cultural aspects of human groups.
9. Carry out expert reports on the socio-cultural conditioning of human behavior and the various
determinations relating to material and human remains.
10. Plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching-learning processes in the disciplines of the Anthropology
area.
