I have been through 3 different elementary level practicum so far and am currently doing my internship where I am basically being the teacher all day with the assistance from my cooperating teacher and other professionals as well. During my time at VCU, outside of the practicum and internship I have taken many different methodology classes in which I have learned an abundance of tools and techniques to use when working with a variety of students. I’m also currently a regular tutor for a few different elementary level students and have gained even more experience through working with these kids one-on-one.
