About
Hi! I'm from Beijing and graduated from Peking University Affiliated High School with a great grade. I'm outgoing, humorous, and passionate about teaching with an engaging, theater-inspired style. I love tech, travel, anime, and gaming. I’ve won awards in theater and science competitions, and led website projects for my school. I’ve traveled across the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and even biked 1500 km solo from Beijing to Hangzhou. With a strong academic background and diverse experiences, my classes are never boring! I have a global mindset thanks to frequent international travel, deep exposure to Western culture, and friendships with peers from around the world. I'm also fluent in Chinese internet culture and memes—so I can connect across cultures, online and offline.
I have two years of teaching experience and have worked with students of all ages—from young beginners (6–12 years old) to adults—tailoring lessons to their needs. My students come from diverse countries, including Norway, Turkey, Singapore, the U.S., and Mexico, and my teaching has been widely praised for its clarity, patience, and cultural insight. At my high school, I was selected by foreign teachers to join the elite Writing Center, tutoring peers in academic English. I also served as a Chemistry TA and led theater coaching, helping even the shyest students gain confidence.
I avoid rigid memorization and instead guide you to understand and enjoy the language through dynamic activities, cultural context, and plenty of practice. My teaching style is highly personalized and flexible—I adapt each lesson to your specific goals, interests, and learning pace. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve specific skills, I believe in teaching what you need, not just what's in the textbook. My classes are interactive, engaging, and student-centered, with a strong focus on communication and real-world usage.
