About

Hello there! My name is Refiloe Moruane born and bred in a beautiful motherland South Africa. I am currently doing my final year of a Bachelor's in Education degree. Majoring in English and Natural Sciences. I am a certified TEFL educator who is passionate about educating. As a young aspiring teacher, my most profound passion lies in educating others and nothing fulfils me more than seeing my students prosper. I work out, cook, or learn something new in my spare time. I am keen on travelling and learning about various cultures and countries. I have experience teaching in a formal setting, that is a classroom with diverse learners and I taught in an informal setting where I focused on individual learners. Teaching English is one of the fulfilling engagements in my life, primarily I teach conversational English, literature, grammar and writing. Natural Sciences is my favourite subject love concretizing abstract science concepts in various ways with my students. I am a very flexible educator, I believe each individual has their unique way of learning. Thus, I implement various teaching strategies to meet the needs of each individual. However, my go-to method is the use of the scaffolding method which is when I gradually shed assistance as the students increase their understanding. My lessons are always interactive and fun because I always ensure that my students are comfortable and engaged in the learning process.
