I'm Gaia, I am an enthusiastic and devoted Foreign language Tutor with many years of experience. I teach Italian to students of all ages and levels, with a passion for the language, the country, or for professional purposes, also for GCSE, Italian Citizenship and Passport exams preparation.
Foreign languages and get to know different cultures have always been my greatest passion. After graduating in "Social and Psycho-Pedagogical foundations", I studied "Modern Languages and Literatures" at the university in Italy, and then I fulfilled one of my dreams by moving to one of the most multicultural cities in the world, my beloved London.
Here is how my love for teaching and interpreting started!
Practice with a native speaker is essential to learn a foreign language... and I believe that learn having fun, in a relaxed and mistake-welcoming learning environment without too many formalities, is much easier than open a book and just read an explanation!
Every lesson is tailored to the student: focusing on your chosen subjects and learning needs, I will create personalised thematic lessons and intercultural activities, including pronunciation, reading comprehension, conversation and grammar drills, to guide you in an immersive learning journey and helping to gain more and more confidence. The teaching materials used are prepared by myself but I also use reference books, which I will share with you.
