Hello everyone! I'm a teacher from Germany and I love teaching German and English. I am Sophia, 26 years old and I am currently studying primary school teaching with English as my main subject and German, Maths and Music as my subsidiary subjects at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität in Würzburg. As I particularly enjoy working with German-language-as-a-second-language (DAZ) students, I extended my studies to include the qualification of German as a second language. To solidify my English, I decided to live in Australia for a year after graduating from high school to pursue my passion: working with children. I lived with an Australian family for a year, taking care of the children and helping them with school problems. Two of the children were autistic and therefore required special empathy, communication skills and patience, which was no problem for me. In addition to my studies, I work in a private tutoring school and therefore regularly work with children and adolescents on their school problems. There, the tutoring takes place in group lessons, whereby the focus on the individual student usually moves into the background. That is why I offer professional and student-centred tutoring on this platform, which guarantees an improvement in grades. With the help of teaching, I can not only grow beyond myself, I can also pursue my passion and impart knowledge to others. As I myself had problems as a student in my school days (especially in maths), I can put myself in their shoes very well, always try to motivate them and know exactly where to start. Cooperation, diligence and practice made me reach my goal and I am sure that together we can do it!
