B.A. International Relations (UBC) with tutoring experience in languages and technology

Collected funds and numerous monthly donations, totalling to $3,000+, for Amnesty International through the organization Public Outreach. Informed individuals on human rights issues, gaining confident communication skills, perseverance, and motivation.

Designed a creative art project with a research team on Chinese Canadian culture in order to diversify the museum’s content and minority representation. Led 80+ visitors to tour the art panels in order to illustrate the significance of Chinese Canadians’ economic and cultural role in Canada, developing public speaking and confident communication skills.

Participated in the program where I taught Spanish to a UBC student and learnt French from her simultaneously, learning and improving my French Conceptualized easy ways to teach Spanish grammar and vocabulary .

Volunteered at Cultural Center of El Retiro, teaching children from 4-17 the English language, organizing lectures and activities depending on ages and interests and helping 30+ students improve their English skills Assisted in the volunteering program Heroe Camina, teaching English and technological skills to retired Colombian soldiers, organizing the lectures and performing them.
