About

My teaching style is strategy-based. I work with students to help them become more confident, articulate, and specific in their use of language. I do NOT waste time by giving out worksheets and rote homework that won’t help you improve— during our sessions, you will receive 100% of my full collaboration and undivided attention. ******* About me: I am the proud daughter of life-long entrepreneurs with a passion for communication, storytelling, and bringing ideas to life. I like to scaffold concepts to communicate effectively, and I exude strong ambassadorship, adaptive thinking, and a results-driven approach to communication. I have worked with large-scale brands and have been published across several platforms, including SSENSE.com, Reedsy.com, the Seattle NFT Museum, and FELA tv. ******* How I Work: English is my teachable subject and passion! I focus on critical thinking/application, persuasive writing, close reading, debate, and advertising. I am qualified to support English students in the intermediate and senior category, including college, university, and professionals. *Writing Sample Requirement* If you are looking for support in creative writing, essay writing, reader response, English 1/2/3/4 U/C, or post-secondary studies, you must share a writing sample with me before our session start-time. My preference is to receive samples at least 12 hours in advance. If that’s not possible, get in touch with me to see if we can make something work. Samples include reader response, persuasive paragraph, full essay, fiction excerpt, blog post, and any other creative or professional piece that you are currently writing or have written in the past. It can be an outline, a complete first draft, or a piece that has already been evaluated. Samples are essential because they introduce me to your writing style, and a 12-hour advance gives me enough time to narrow down specific areas of focus.
