I teach virtual STEM classes (neuroscience, chemistry, biology, biochemistry, and anatomy) to students from grades 5 to 12. In this role, I was responsible for creating all content and course outlines; this has helps me develops the skills needed to teach others.

I participated in a summer internship at the University of Toronto, hosted by Amgen Canada. In this role, I assisted graduate students in their ALS research and completed my own research project into the cellular etiology of ALS. I became familiar with statistical modelling and the use of ImageJ in microscopy.

In this role, I assisted graduate students with their research in Parkinson's disease, stress and depression. I became experienced in techniques such as western blots and microscopy. I worked in the lab intermittedly for three years.
