About
Hey there! My name is Yeidi Day. I’m a native English speaker living in beautiful Northeast Florida right near the Atlantic Ocean! I work as a teacher, sign language interpreter, and construction worker.
I’ve been teaching for over five years, and have attended CIE School where I learned many methods on how to teach more effectively and acquired my TESOL certificate and SLAM certificate in American Sign Language. I also graduated from USILACS with a Bachelors Degree in English.
I’ve visited countries like Honduras and the Dominican Republic where I spent my time working as a teacher.
The expression on students’ faces when they have their "Aha!" moment is the goal I strive to reach in every class! Every child learns in a unique way, and I love tailoring each class to their specific needs and learning styles.
I believe that making learning enjoyable and interactive is the best way to make learning a new language stick. That is the way I learned Spanish and Sign Language! I try to make every class both educational and fun, so I’ll see you in class!
