About
I am experienced at teaching English as a second language and preparing students for Academic IELTS exams. I have taught in the UK and in Abu Dhabi and have tutored students from various countries. I use a structured approach to teaching, which insures that a student's progress is based on the fundamental principles of grammar. I then move forward to developing the student's ability to follow local accents and be able to communicate on an everyday level. Academic writing is also an important part of my curriculum.
In addition to teaching English for academia, I also teach Business English and Technical English. My experience has involved preparing corporate students with the ability to communicate on a technical level, in order that they are able to work within the oil/gas & petrochemical industries. I have also tutored business people, allowing them to communicate and conduct their trades within global settings.
