About

I am a current fourth year medical student at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. I earned an M.S. in Medical Physiology at Case Western Reserve University and a B.A. in Biological Sciences at Cornell University with a minor in Psychology and concentration in Animal Physiology. I have tutored elementary to high school students. I also have experience tutoring college students. My areas of expertise include math up to 9th grade, biology, anatomy and physiology, psychology, grammar, and reading and writing. My favorite part of teaching is watching my students gradually improve on skills and concepts that they struggle with. That "aha!" moment truly is priceless. I recognize that everyone learns differently, and I have always worked to tailor my teaching style to what is most effective for my student. I come up with fun and creative ways of learning and remembering material, and genuinely want to see students succeed!
