Hello. My name is Emi. I am a native Japanese speaker and currently live in Tokyo.
I have a university degree in economics and have worked for more than 20 years in several companies. In my mid-30s, I enrolled in an art college and completed a master's degree in Art Studies. Currently, I am working in an office while enrolled in a graduate program, where I am writing my doctoral thesis on Spanish painting. I also am involved in laboratory management as a part-time lecturer at a university.
Based on my experience, I am able to teach Japanese for daily conversation, business, and academic contexts. I can help you improve your ability to use correct Japanese and honorific expressions in daily life, at school, at work, and in various other situations, as well as your reading comprehension (the ability to correctly understand the meaning and read nuances), conversation, and writing expression.
I customize lesson methods and materials according to your goals, level, and interests.
In addition, I can check and proofread academic reports, papers, and business writing in Japanese, and provide practice in presentations and discussions. Please let me know if you would like to use this service.
Finally, I teach in Japanese, but I speak English(although not fluently, about B1 level), so you can use English if you find it difficult to express in Japanese. I hope you can relax and enjoy the lessons.
