University of Melbourne
2016 - 2020PhD, Neuroscience
I have been awarded a Melbourne Research scholarship to pursue my Ph.D. on a project titled "Mechanisms of toxicity of soluble mutant huntingtin (Httex1) in a mouse model of Huntington’s Disease (HD)"
International Institute of Information Technology
2009 - 2011Masters of Technology, Bioinformatics
I scored 94 percentile (All India 827th rank) in the Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering (GATE) in 2008, based on which I got a scholarship to pursue my masters. We worked on computationally modelling "vasomotion" in smooth muscle that lines an arteriole. and also, performed molecular dynamic simulations to study allosteric regulation of the neuronal synaption protein - PSD-95.
