About
My educational background and extensive tutoring experience have uniquely equipped me to provide high-quality tutoring in various subjects. I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, in March 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in History, achieving Magna Cum Laude honors and maintaining a 3.97 GPA. My rigorous academic training has honed my academic skills, which I apply to tutoring to help students achieve their academic goals.
I have a robust background in tutoring, starting with my role as an Online Volunteer K-12 Tutor with Learn To Be from May 2022 to May 2023. During this period, I provided free online English and Math tutoring to four students from diverse backgrounds, emphasizing equitable access to education. I developed customized instructional approaches to address each student's unique learning challenges and maintained consistent communication with parents to increase engagement in their children's academic progress.
Following this, I volunteered as a College Language Tutor for the Vietnamese Tutoring Program at UCLA from October 2022 to June 2023. Here, I focused on breaking language barriers and increasing students' enthusiasm for learning the language. I successfully integrated multimedia technology into lessons, making learning engaging and culturally immersive.
Most recently, I worked as a School Tutor with Tutor Me Education from April 2023 to April 2024 in Los Angeles, CA. I tracked and analyzed student assessment data, collaborated with colleagues to develop individualized educational plans, and provided one-on-one guidance to foster academic success.
Through these experiences, I have worked with students of various ages and learning needs in both one-on-one and group settings.
