About
I am an OCT certified science educator working in Toronto, Canada. I received my BSc and MSc in Microbiology and Immunology at Western University and recently graduated from the Master of Teaching program at University of Toronto's OISE faculty of teaching. I have worked as a university level teaching assistant and tutored for high-school Biology and Chemistry for a combined 4 years of experience. As an educator, I have extensive experience working with students to find the optimal way to teach the material and determine where they need help. My background knowledge coupled with my experience as a teacher and tutor provide me with the necessary tools to effectively tutor students in Science.
I'm an enthusiastic person with a passion for Science, and as and avid learner myself, I know that problem areas can seem daunting and often insurmountable. But, with patience and individually tailored approaches, I have helped many students navigate the often challenging world of Biology and Chemistry.
