Work as a lab demonstrator for 100 level and 300 level courses. This ranges from molecular biology to cardiovascular physiology. This includes demonstrating techniques to students and helping them develop new techniques. Also involves answering any questions or helping students with any problems they have regarding the course content. Training is provided fortnightly to demonstrators to ensure that we are familiar with content and with the lab practicals.

Teach the IB curriculum for Chemistry and Biology (at Standard and Higher Level) and Maths (at Standard Level). Ensure that students understand all concepts outlined in the syllabus and strengthen their knowledge and understanding.

Teach English to non-native English speakers. This includes reading and comprehension, writing, listening and speaking. Different activities and materials are used in accordance to what the student is interested in.

Provided tutoring in NCEA Level 2 Statistics, Biology and Chemistry. Provided worksheets and exercises to help individual practice their knowledge and reiterate what they had learnt to enhance their understanding of the content presented. Also helped go through any content they were unfamiliar with or had any issues understanding.

Teaching the fundamentals of biology, as well as addressing any other areas of science the individual is interested in. I work through a certain syllabus with them, to ensure they have the basics before they continue further to grasp more complex concepts. I also provide worksheets every session containing info from the last lesson, as a recap for them, and any other resources that will aid them in their learning.

Offered private piano tutoring to individuals of all ages. Helped improve their piano techniques, as well identifying certain components of music. Planned lessons in accordance to the individual's level of skill, and composed music scores that would help with their learning.

Taught the basic skills of the violin, including reading music. Focused on trying to get students engaged with the instrument, by teaching them drills and exercises that were fun yet effective in developing skills and techniques.

I volunteered to work in the Kids4Kids Buddy Programme, where we worked with underprivileged kids in Hong Kong between the ages of 5 and 14, and helped them with their English - reading, writing and verbal skills.

Taught piano to kids between the ages of 6 and 12, teaching them the basics of piano. Not only did we focus on the technique and skills involved in playing the piano, but I also taught them how to read music. Specifically, we looked at identifying certain articulations and elements in music.

Taught individuals the basics of Chinese - intonations, reading, writing, etc. Created flashcards to help with their learning and understanding, as well as getting them engaged through fun activities and projects. Also assigned homework tasks to help them practice their skills.
