Hello there! My name is Katrina. I have an Honours Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology & Genetics (Research Specialization) with a minor in Business from McMaster University. I have a strong academic background, graduating on the Dean's Honours List with a GPA of 3.84 (4.0 scale). I have excelled in a variety of courses in the areas of biology, chemistry, and math. I have achieved A and A+ grades in several math, statistics, chemistry, and upper year biology courses. Having completed a research thesis in the final year of my studies, I also have strong writing, communications, and research methods knowledge and skills. I also won two presentation awards for my thesis work. I have informal tutoring experience in all subjects pertaining to the GED exam, as well as various high school and university biology, chemistry, math, English and writing subjects. I am so passionate about education and helping people learn. I would love to help you work through any tough concepts or problems you're working on!
