About
I have a B.A. in Literature/Writing from U.C. San Diego. In addition to my major studies, I have experience with STEM including computer science (HTML, CSS, Java, Javascript, and Python,) cognitive science, statistics, and high school calculus. I studied Spanish Literature at the university level, meaning I have abilities in Spanish conversation and composition. I am currently learning how to speak and write in Japanese.
In my free time, I enjoy creative writing, reading, playing music, and making visual art.I have a lot of experience making visual art. I started painting and drawing when I was seven years old, and I continue to draw to this day.
I was a writing tutor at LA Trade Tech for one summer where I assisted students with editing, brainstorming for assignments, and general critical thinking. I also have experience with children, as I worked as a camp counselor for another summer.
What makes me an outstanding English tutor is not only have I been a writing tutor in the past and a creative writer in my free time, but also that I was an intern at a literary agency.

Worked with the author/owner who is currently promoting the latest book in his sci-fi series for young adults. Used Canva design and publishing platform to develop content for Pinterest and Instagram, including posters and animated Instagram stories. Utilized and managed his Pinterest page to market his work to different segments.

Provided support to literary agent interacting with authors. Evaluated manuscripts submitted by authors and wrote reports critiquing the work. Pointed out positives in plot, character development, and language, identified areas for improvement, and provided recommendation on whether Writers House should accept work for representation.
