About
Hi! My name is Leah, welcome to my profile! I have a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and am now a second-year medical student at the University of Western Ontario. I am also an IB Diploma Programme graduate and have experience tutoring higher level IB sciences and developing IB writing skills.
Currently, I am offering MCAT tutoring and coaching starting now & continuing through the summer. I scored in the 90th percentile and received multiple medical school offers. I am also currently taking bookings for the end of the school year & the summer for primary through university-aged students (keep up on those skills between grades!) & can create packages for tutoring throughout the summer. More about my experience: For the last several years, I have tutored students enrolled in kindergarten to first-year university in multiple subject areas including reading, essay writing, mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry and French. I am proficient in French language, so tutoring for French immersion is also available. I believe in developing a unique approach to tutoring for each student I work with - what works for one student may not work for another, and that's okay! We all learn differently, and I want nothing more than to make learning even the most challenging subjects a positive experience.
