If numbers are your kryptonite & math anxiety your companion, I'm your secret weapon. A math specialist and educator turning "I'm not a math person" into "Oh, I get it"
I specialize in dealing with math anxiety and love to work with learners who believe the myth that they're not a math person. Doing math shouldn't just be about getting an answer, but about understanding. I teach and tutor for the "Ah-ha" moment. You may not have understood your math or algebra in the past, but change that to you haven't understood it YET!
My sessions are tailored to your needs whether it's homework help or studying for an exam or assessment. I will help you deepen your understanding so that you are confidant and successful.
Lessons are for elementary or foundational math and numeracy up to Algebra.

Look No More!!
I can’t stress enough Cynthia ‘s passion and talent. There is no price on investing on the right tutor for exponential results. You will not be disappointed with her. She gives an honest appraisal of a student's academic performance and intellectual promise along with understanding goals with care and professionalism. Cynthia is an expect that teaches teachers how to teach and is well respected in her profession. You will receive a view point and complete overview of each primary area of your child learning. What was most impactful for us was the feedback on how to interact with teachers, insight on teacher styles, classroom and experience. These were important elements to my child performance academically. Because of this, my child is beyond excelling.

Best Math Tutor Ever!!!
Cynthia is an amazing tutor! As a mom of four it can be challenging keeping up with today’s math. Therefore, when my kids come home with math equations that I haven’t seen in a decade I immediately pick up the phone and call Cynthia! Cynthia’s unique mastery of mathematics allows her to provide a plethora of examples and visual cues to help me and my special needs children to learn math in a way that’s not burdensome or aggravating. While her patience and humor is key for me, I wholeheartedly agree with her methods of allowing the child to really process what they’re doing. These are just a few reasons why Cynthia tops out as favorite math teacher/tutor of all time!
