Hello, my name is Michael. I have been learning Japanese for almost a decade. In 2017 I passed the JLPT N1 exam. For as long as I can remember I have been a fan of Anime and Manga, and at some point, watching and reading it in Japanese became my goal. Having learned more than 2000 Chinese characters and thousands of words, I now feel confident that I can teach other people. As a long-time student of Japanese, I know the specific hurdles that learners face. I can explain difficult topics in a way that is easy to understand and teach you effective self-learning strategies and techniques so that you can learn in between our lessons as well. Whether you love anime and manga like I do, or you want to learn Japanese for another reason, I can confidently guide you in mastering this beautiful language.
