I am a retired teacher. I taught elementary school; both special education and elementary education for 27 years. I am National Board Certified in Teaching Students with Exceptional Needs. I spent the last several years of my teaching career working with struggling learners; specifically in reading and phonics. I have had a great amount of success helping students succeed in school by using reputable reading/phonics programs while also incorporating patience and dedication. I love working with students who need extra help and support to build their reading, phonics, and math skills.
