About
I am currently a second-year student at the University of Alberta, pursuing a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) degree with a major in Mathematics. My goal is to teach math at the high school or university level, combining my passion for education with a commitment to helping students master mathematical concepts in an increasingly complex world.
Over the past seven years, I’ve tutored students privately and have also gained experience teaching in a group, classroom-like setting for over a year. During this time, I’ve had the privilege of guiding students from failing to passing within weeks, proving that with the right mindset, focus, and determination, any student can achieve their goals—whether in math or beyond.
I tutor a wide range of topics, including Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I & II, Multivariable Calculus, Ordinary Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations, and more. I love math because it builds a foundation of problem-solving skills and resilience. Math teaches us there’s often more than one way to arrive at the correct answer and reinforces the importance of persistence and creative thinking. It also instills confidence through its inherent ability to verify and cross-check solutions, providing tangible evidence of success.
Outside of math, I enjoy spending time with close friends and loved ones, playing chess, and watching movies. I am enthusiastic, patient, and deeply committed to bringing out the best in every student, ensuring they not only succeed academically but also grow as confident, capable individuals.
