Hello, I'm Rosie! I‘m so happy to meet you here! I am a native Chinese speaker from Beijing. I enjoy talking to people from different cultural backgrounds. I have a host of experiences in teaching Chinese, and I hold a Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(CTCSOL).I have helped many foreign friends to learn Chinese both online and offline achieving 2,000 lessons more.
I've been involved in business development overseas for over 8 years since I graduated from university. which made me know the cultures of plenty of countries, I always helped local learners prepare for the HSK Chinese proficiency test. The experience taught me how to communicate with the learners effectively.
I had multiple international volunteering experiences. I taught the children who couldn't attend school, due to earthquake to study English and Chinese at Nepal's Everest base camp transit station in 2016. I volunteered as a bilingual teacher in Kenya and Tanzania in Africa in 2019. These experiences have fueled my passion for language teaching.
My teaching approach is tailored to your level, objective, and your interest in the language. We usually have 5 courses for you to choose from, you can see the details in the “courses” below👇. if you are a beginner, we usually start with Pinyin and daily expression.
But if you have already learned some Chinese and desire to dig deeper, you can tell me what level you want to achieve before we start, and I will personalize a plan to meet your goals.
Also, I’d like to create a relaxed and cheerful classroom atmosphere, your experience will be more enjoyable if you feel relaxed. We can discuss, communicate, and share life et cetera.
We will focus on your pronunciation and conversation skills, please let me know if you want to improve in other parts, like writing, listening, or desire to acquire a deeper understanding of Chinese culture.
In addition, I’m happy to share my learning materials with you if it would be helpful.
