My name is Yusuf Adeyinka, and I'm glad about the opportunity to apply for the open ESL Teacher position, i am fluent in English and Arabic, I look forward to offering students the ability to improve their proficiency with English. In my current position as an ESL teacher, I've followed state and district policies to deliver a curriculum with proven results. Since I began this job in 2017, my students' standardized test scores have steadily increased by over 60%. I've also devised creative ways to plan fun activities in line with the district-approved curriculum, like incorporating humor and pop culture into lessons for increased student engagement. I'm dedicated to celebrating my students' cultural heritage while giving them English skills they can use throughout their lives.
