I have over four years of experience as a tutor and Instructor for Math, Statistics, and Computer Programming. I have also worked in this field for years in different unpaid and paid professions that have developed my knowledge and ability to translate ideas to people. As I have worked with students, I have discovered that everyone will need different methods to help them learn. I am always willing to provide them with the adaptations that best fit them and to guide them part by part. I employ a style in my sessions that is paced based on the student's requests and researched learning requirements. I can guarantee that students will be provided with all the services to help them understand theories. My teaching methodology also heavily emphasizes real applications and problem-solving to master skills. I have a passion for passing on my knowledge of Math and Computer/Data Science and would love to meet new students. I can tutor for both High School and University Level Math and Computer/Data Science. And I have built experience with past examination formats from such courses. I can also tutor for high school Chemistry and Science courses, and to a high level on Java and Python. Students are required to send all material and clearly outline their requests before requesting a date minimum 24 hours before a paid session. Hey, I'm Hafsa from Punjab, Pakistan. I hold an MPhil degree in applied mathematics. I am a teacher by profession. I love to teach students who find math a difficult subject. I've taught many students who struggled with math; I helped them make math their favorite subject and get good grades. I have more than eight years of teaching experience and have taught in different environments. I have experience teaching school-level, college-level, and university-level students. My teaching methodology varies from student to student. I always start my class by posing some basic questions related to the lecture to gauge the level of the students and make them more attentive. To make things easier, I like to divide tasks into smaller steps. I start with basic concepts and then slowly move toward the topic. My classrooms are student-centered and fun. My students can ask their questions at any time during the class. After every lecture, I assess my students' concepts regarding that specific lecture. After lecture, I asked students to briefly tell me what they had learned or to simply explain a specific step in the solution. Moreover, for the assessment of my students, I schedule tests and quizzes. At the end of every lecture, I provide notes, extra learning material, and practice questions. I prepare lesson plans and homework according to the needs of my students. I am a passionate and hardworking teacher. I can assist you with assignments and exam preparation. I want to help you build confidence in your math skills. Schedule a lesson with me so we can talk about your goals and how I can help you achieve them. I love meeting new people and will be happy to have you.

Perspective on Education: I have devoted my entire professional career to working with students both in and out of the classroom. From tutoring my peers throughout my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mathematics, to teaching college courses of all levels, to mentoring high school students, I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages, from various backgrounds, and from around the globe. With over 15 years of experience, I have developed an approach to teaching that is centered around developing the core of a successful student. I work to build a solid fundamental base, but more importantly I seek to impart the ability, confidence, and passion to seek out knowledge for the sake of personal growth. Regardless of your background or what topic you are learning, I bring an approachable, adaptable style to my work that develops a rapport with students that ultimately brings out their best. Math Specific Background: Despite never really being “into” math at a young age, I always excelled in the subject. By high school I accepted my fate as the resident math help and aided the school with peer tutoring and even joined the traveling math team for competitions. At university, I was inducted into the honorary mathematics fraternity, Pi Mu Epsilon. During my final two years as an undergraduate, I traveled to multiple mathematics conferences and gave talks on topics including, but not limited to, the mathematics of toilet paper. My senior year I received the Wilbur and Burdella Stuckey Carl Mathematics Prize for outstanding achievement in mathematics. After receiving my BS in Mathematics, I was offered a scholarship at the University of Akron to continue my education and teach simultaneously. In 2010 I earned an MS in theoretical mathematics and I have been teaching at universities while tutoring individuals ever since.

STELLA MARIS, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY
ABOUT MY EDUCATION: From the days of schooling i was very much interested in maths. I did my graduation in the most reputed college in chennai . ' STELLA MARIS' . I did my preuniversity course with MPC , (maths, physics, chemistry) and secured an overall percentage of 95.5. (200\200 in maths) That score was good enough to get an engineering seat in Anna University, but i opted for major maths in stella maris , due to my passion for maths. so i did my BSC ( MATHS) in the same college with PHYSICS and STATISTICS as my ancillaries. I came out with a distinction in my graduation. After a stint of few years i enrolled for MSC ( maths ) to enhance my knowledge. By that time i had started my carrier as a tutor teaching CBSE, ICSE, and AIEEE( IIT entrance) MY METHOD: I don't believe in working only from one book. Even though i am open to teach from the students book or material, i also give them work from different books i have. I first make the fundamentals strong, teach the concepts, and give them problem from different books. This method helps very much for the student to gain confidence and face the exam without the fear of an unseen problem. TOOLS: I have a PEN TABLET and DIGITAL PEN. I write on the whiteboard and share the screen with the student so that the student can view live, what i am writing. The student can also write on the whiteboard. Currently I am tutoring students in 8 countries across the globe. The syllabi I am handling are PRECALCULUS, AP CALCULUS ( both AB and BC ), CALCULUS 1, 2, 3 FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS,ALGEBRA 1 and 2, IB , IGCSE, PURE MATHS, SAT and also MATHS for UNDERGRAD STUDENTS Iam willing to teach INFINITE SERIES and APPLICATIONS OF DIFFERERNTIATION AND INTEGRATION also

Hi there, and welcome! I'm a PhD student in Physics at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. Prior to this, I got my Master's of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo in Applied Math, and a Bachelor of Mathematics studying Mathematical Physics. My research interests are at the intersection of astrophysics, particle physics, cosmology, and gravitational waves. I have been tutoring students since high school as a volunteer peer tutor in math and physics, and decided to continue tutoring throughout university. At the University of Waterloo I was a private tutor for several courses (see below), where I helped several students improve their academic performances. I've also been a teaching assistant for many courses at both the University of Waterloo and Queen's University (see below), and was awarded an Outstanding TA Award for my contributions. If you're struggling in your classes, or if you just want to deepen your understanding of physics and mathematics, then you've come to the right place! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you had any questions! ---------- To see if we'd be a good fit, the first 15 minutes of the first session is free! After that we can decide whether to continue working together.

I have been instructing for years and I enjoy teaching everything from martial arts to calculus. I am happy to help you through any elementary, middle, or high school course. I have read and studied textbooks that are horrible at explaining things. I had to work hard to learn a lot of lessons. But now, you can reap the benefits of my experience by being my tutee! I am different than other tutors (or textbooks for that matter) because of my teaching method. I break concepts down in a way that are understandable and repeatable. Here's the process: 1. I explain what we're doing. This sounds simple, but textbooks and tutors alike forget to leave it out. If we are studying Pythagorean Theorem, I will start out by stating what we are doing clearly and concisely. 2. I demonstrate what we're doing. To continue with the Pythagorean Theorem example, I would present a problem where this concept should be used, and I will complete the problem in full so you, the student, can see the full answer. 3. We will do problems together. Depending on the complexity and length of the problems in question, we will do singular or multiple questions at a high-, mid-, and low-level of explanation for each. 4. You will repeat a few of the questions that use the particular concept we are studying. I will be there to help you along if you get stuck. 5. Of course you will be asking questions along the way, but now, at the end, you can ask any final ones.
