𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀: Yale, Georgetown, JHU, Northwestern, Penn, Brown, Emory, CMU, UMass Amherst, JMU, GMU, UT Austin, UW, Duke, NYU, etc. I'm a Duke Honors graduate with a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology and Political Science and training in neuroscience from Stanford. Having received the full benefits of a liberal arts education, I can help you get a competitive edge in public speaking, essay writing, college admissions, and career navigation while growing as a person. I have been recognized by a 4x NYT Bestselling Author and one of the world's most powerful women for my work in whole-person development and am part of Duke University's vetted Alumni Career Coaches. I exist to empower people, help them communicate their ideas, and find their place in the world. My students have received offers from Stanford, Harvard, UChicago, Duke, Dartmouth, Berkeley, MIT, and many more. They have noted how I help them be themselves and succeed rather than striving for someone else's notion of "success" at their own long-term expense. I am also a professional Integral Coach®, which means I am trained to embody emotional intelligence and work with you in a present, ethical, and empowering way. I hope I will shape your tutoring experience to be one where you can reach your goals, find your place in the world, and honor your humanity and inherent value.

Extensive experience in all grade levels, college and in an after school middle school library setting daily. Past students have described my skills and presentation style as approachable, especially by an ability to frame subjects in the vein of popular culture, making nearly any topic digestible even if once an impenetrable fog. I also strive to address the fundamentals of education via rejection of rote memorization, instead showing students how information personally can have meaning to them, thus making retention all the more easier.

Hi, I'm Ashlyn! I'm a fourth-year student majoring in Economics and Political Science with minors in Sociology and Philosophy. I have always been passionate about education and the transformative power it holds. Tutoring allows me to contribute to the academic growth of individuals, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals. I believe education is not just about acquiring knowledge but also about fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong love for learning. As a tutor, I aspire to inspire and empower my students to reach their full potential academically and beyond. I have one year of teaching experience in a classroom; I taught High School English and Math in Nepal where I was the primary teacher for classes of 20-25 students. Further, for the past four years, I have been private tutoring High School students online. I work with students one-on-one for SAT/ACT test preparation, college applications, Algebra, Calculus, English, and Social Studies. I absolutely love the individual relationships I can form when tutoring one student at a time. I'm aware each student has varying academic goals and learning styles, so I tailor my teaching approach to fit the needs of each individual student. For each student, I curate a personalized curriculum to teach the material they need to know in a way that works for them. By creating a supportive and engaging environment, I aim to create a safe space for students to ask questions, explore concepts deeply, and develop a strong foundation in the subject matter. I'm excited to work with my students to reach their academic goals! Please feel free to message me for more details or with any questions.
