Hi, I am Tutor Douglas. My English-teaching career started during early childhood. Since my father was in the Air Force, every few years we moved from one Air Force base to another; consequently, my childhood friends from many different countries were interested in learning the English language. My daily correspondence with the attorneys was instrumental in my personal development of an advanced business vocabulary. For four of the nine years, my call center was based in the Philippines where I gained valuable experience teaching American English to Filipino employees. As you can see, my childhood English-teaching experience and subsequent English educational journey have prepared me to be where I am today, working with Tutor Ocean, one of the most prolific language-tutoring companies in the world.
