K-8 Elementary Teacher (all subjects)

I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Music. I have my Lutheran Teaching diploma as well. I can teach student from Kindergarten to 8th grade.

I had a one year contract with this school. My job was to teach the classes that the other middle school teachers couldn't teach. I taught 5th grade writing, 6th grade spelling and English, as well as 6th and 8th grade computer skills. In the mornings, I would come in and tutor elementary students in math, reading, and spelling. This school taught classical education and so I was extremely blessed to have been a part of this learning environment.

I worked at Sylvan Learning Center for a year teaching math and reading to elementary students who needed help in those areas. Their was a curriculum that we would follow using an iPad to help these students achieve higher scores in math and reading.

I worked as a substitute teacher in the Olathe School District. I subbed in every single school across the Olathe School District. I have taught K-8th grade in these schools. I taught every subject.

I taught first and second graders at Linn Lutheran. I taught all core subjects plus religion, music, art, and PE. I also was the first through fifth grade choir teacher.
