I have always been passionate about environmental issues such as solid waste management, conservation programs, and sustainable agriculture, to name a few. Therefore, I was happy when I got accepted into the environmental management program at South Eastern Kenya University. My degree program focused on a hands-on approach. We communicated one-on-one with our professors, which was crucial in meaningful discussions on different topics, including case studies. The degree program allowed me to appreciate the environment and natural resources.
