Duties as Dean of Students are:
– Providing proactive leadership to engage all stakeholders in the delivery of programs and services to support the students’ academic achievement, personal and social development
-Directing Career and Employability Programmes to support Students and Alumni
– Ensuring that students have adequate resources and support to be successful in their learning environment
– Coordinating additional services for students e.g. financial aid, housing, and health services
– Serving as a point of information for students and responding to students' needs
– Supervising various campus programs and serving as a liaison between RU administration and student organizations, such as RUSA.
– Initiating, supporting and managing social programs
– Orientation events for incoming students
– Coordinating transfer services specifically for international students
– Encouraging academic success and monitoring students
– Managing the office budget
– Developing office policies regarding student life program development
– Staying up to date on relevant student resources and work directly with students.
– Handling disciplinary issues, appeals, very sensitive personal information, and all manner of conflict.
Duties as Director Quality Assurance:
– Providing proactive leadership to engage all stakeholders in the delivery of Total Quality Management in Academic, Administrative and other non-academic spheres in the University.
– Driving the process of developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures in the University.
– Conducting monitoring and evaluation to receive feedback for continual improvement.
– Training Staff and Stakeholders on Quality Assurance.
– Ensuring proper documentation
– Ensuring Regular Audits to maintain Quality
– Ensure Corrective actions are taken to address nonconformity
