English Literature tutor

I am qualified to teach students aged 16 years and over. For this qualification, my placement college was the Isle of Wight college.

In my first year of studying, I achieved an 80% grade for an assignment based on the use of Christianity within 18th century texts. I also studied the works of Shakespeare, the Bronte sisters and other authors.

This was a summer contract position and I taught English to students from Italy, Spain, China and Russia.

I teach English, online, to Chinese students aged from 4 to 16 years old.

I taught Functional Skills Maths and English, Employability and English as a second language. A Hungarian student of mine went on to Trinity college, London, where he obtained a distinction grade for his Spoken English examination.

I taught GCSE Maths and English and Functional Skills Maths and English. Students belonging to one of my Functional Skills English classes were the first in the college to pass their Functional Skills English examinations.
